Each year the state of West Virginia recognizes companies for expanding their sales and service to new countries overseas. CFI is proud to be among the recipients of the Governor’s Commendation for International Market Entry Award. Since its inception in 2002, CFI has received 26 export awards for its global reach and commitment to serving customers worldwide.

The award is presented to West Virginia businesses that began exporting goods or services to a new country in the previous calendar year. Following the tradition of displaying the first dollar a company earns, honorees receive a plaque featuring a piece of currency from that country. Over the past 20 years, more than 170 West Virginia companies have been recognized for serving nearly 200 countries combined.

The Governor’s Commendation for International Market Entry Award recognized the value that West Virginia businesses bring to the state and its growing economy. In 2020, the state’s exports were valued at $4.5 billion.

We are honored to be recognized by the state for our global collaboration efforts and are committed to continuing our growth and driving more profitable innovation for the global manufacturers we serve.
